DIY Thorong La Trek

DIY Trekking

Thorong La Pass and the Around Annapurna Trek is one of the great treks of the world. It can be dangerous as the pass is often covered in snow and avalanches are common. At 5410m altitude sickness is real concern. This trek requires a lot of time to acclimatize approximately 1 day per 300m (5410-2500=2910/300) = 10 days minimum.
