This VOIP phone has better quality built and function better than the other brands. This Skype phone gives less annoying beeps, while provides easy-to-follow GUI. You can directly dial to your Skype contacts or perform Skype out without touching your computer.
To use the dialing features of phone, though, you must have the included SoftPhone software running and it tends to take about 5 to 10MB of ram -- not a problem at all for casual users but if you're like me (a geek) you might not like the idea of keeping that program running all the time. However the good news is that the phone presents itself as an HID and an audio device so you can still use it as simply a speaker and a mic for calls, without running the softphone program
